If you need to travel to the station from the city centre, the ideal way is to use the Hoppa bus which is operated for the park and ride service. It is available for a small charge to travel to and from the station from Broadway as well as to and from the car parks. The service only runs during the operating hours of the park and ride service.
To find out about local bus services within the Winchester area click on either Stagecoach (which covers Winchester City and outlying villages of Alresford, Alton and further afield), or Bluestar (for travelling from Winchester to the Southampton area).

Leave the car behind and head for Winchester to borrow a bicycle from the Bikeabout bicycle loan service.
For an annual registration fee of £20 (or £35 for two) you can borrow a bike as often as you like. Regrettably the Bikeabout service is not available on Sundays.
A wonderful way to get to know the city and surrounding countryside.

The City Council is responsible for public toilets in central Winchester and the larger villages and small towns of Alresford, Bishop's Waltham, Denmead and Wickham. All have facilities for disabled people and, wherever possible, remain open 24 hours a day.
Further information about toilets in the Winchester district can be found on the Winchester City Council website. You may also find the City centre map (PDF, 229KB) useful to locate toilets in the city.
