Beautifully refurbished and just 10 minutes from Winchester centre, the Running Horse encompasses the best of pub life.

The nine stylish and comfortable rooms offer the perfect accommodation for those staying in the area for one or two nights, or as a base from which to explore the Hampshire region on a longer stay.

The Running Horse offers twin, double and family rooms which are arranged around an attractive lawned garden and each has en-suite facilities, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee-making facilities and mineral water.

Guests have 24-hour room access and check-in is all day and by prior arrangement outside of licensing hours. The Running Horse has on site car parking for guests and offers free wi-fi access throughout.

All room prices include breakfast. Breakfast is a choice of a Full English, Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs, Smoked Haddock with Poached Eggs or Continental. There is also tea, coffee or orange juice, fresh fruit and yogurts.

The pub offers breakfast, lunch and dinner; 7 days a week. A varied menu of freshly prepared meals offers light snacks, seasonal specials, children’s meals and Sunday roasts, while catering for functions and private events.

By road: From M3: exit at J9 towards Winchester and (from the South) Newbury. At the roundabout take the A34 exit towards Newbury. After approximately 2 miles take B3420 towards Worthy Down and Stockbridge. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit to Littleton. Follow the road and at the end turn left and go through the village and The Running Horse is on the left.
From Winchester: take the B3049 Stockbridge Road for approximately 2 miles. Then turn right into Littleton Road (Main Road) approximately 50 metres after the A34 Harestock sign. The Running Horse is on the right at the end of the village.

By public transport: Stagecoach bus service number 7 and 68 operate from Winchester city centre to Littleton.
