Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium is bringing you closer to the action this summer as it launches a series of film screenings aimed at young children, teenagers and adults with screenings planned until mid-August.

The films are shown from inside its state-of-the-art Planetarium, where movie-goers will be able to enjoy popcorn, snacks and refreshments while lying back and enjoying high-quality 2D projection amidst cinema-grade sound.

Teen Screen! and Twilight Movies are shown every two weeks. The teens are set to enjoy blockbuster movies such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Guardians of the Galaxy; while after the Centre closes the Planetarium remains opens for adults with licensed bar to show films including, The Theory of Everything and Deadpool.

From 18 June, the Planetarium will open early with Movies for Little Ones designed for mini- movie-goers to enjoy the big screen, perhaps for the first time, to experience kids’ films like The Lego Batman Movie and Disney’s Moana.
