By Bus to Paulton’s Park

There is a regular bus service between Winchester and Romsey.  You will then need to change buses in Romsey for a bus to Paulton’s Park.


As a guide, the 66 bus leaves Winchester Bus Station every 30 minutes (on the hour and half past) between 8.30am and 3pm, Monday to Saturday and hourly at half past the hour on Sundays between 8.30am and 4.30pm.


The X7R bus leaves Romsey Bus Station at 10.19am, 12.19pm & 2.19pm for Paulton’s Park, which is approximately a 5 minute journey, Monday to Saturday.  There is no service on Sundays or Bank Holidays.  The X7/X7R Salisbury to Southampton service stops at The Vine Inn, Ower which is a 5-10 minutes walk along the drive to the main entrance to Paulton’s Park.


During some Wiltshire school holidays some journeys travel direct to the Park’s main entrance.  For more information on the X7 & X7R services please see the Salisbury Reds website


By Train to Paulton’s Park

You can take the train from Winchester to Southampton (frequent daily trains) but then will need the X7/X7R Salisbury to Southampton bus (see above) or a taxi to get to Paulton’s Park.
