Magdalen House is located in the city centre with free on-site parking. The two first floor bedrooms offer views towards the Cathedral and Guildhall. Breakfast is served in the top floor kitchen which is furnished with limed oak units and offers further views over the city. Rates include a light breakfast, if you would prefer a cooked breakfast this is available at an additional £5pp.

By Road: From M3 Southbound: Exit at Junction 9, it is about 2 1/2 miles from the roundabout to the house. Follow signs for Winchester and then city centre. At the mini roundabout in front of No 5 Bridge Street go right. The road bends round to the left uphill. Magdalen House is 50 yards up on the left hand side. The driveway is before the house. From M3 Northbound: Exit at Junction 10. It is just over a mile from the motorway exit to the house. Follow the signs for the City Centre. At the miniroundabout in front of Number 5 Bridge Street, go right. The road bends round to the left uphill. Magdalen House is 50 yards up on the left hand side. The driveway is before the house. From the A34: The A34 finishes at the roundabout which serves M3 junction 9, follow directions as above. From A31: Pick up the B3404 (also signposted Winchester Science Centre). The road runs straight for about 2 miles then bends quite sharply to the left downhill. Magdalen House is halfway down the hill on the right hand side. The driveway is beyond the house.

Public Transport: From the bus station/Tourist Information Centre: Winchester bus station is a very short distance from Magdalen House. Beyond the statue of King Alfred and over the roundabout behind him, the road runs past the City Mill over City Bridge. Go straight on at the mini roundabout, follow the road up the hill and Magdalen House is 50 yards up on the left hand side. From the Railway Station: Follow the signs to the Tourist Information Centre. The route gives you the opportunity to browse many of the cafes and restaurants that are available in Jewry Street and then many of the shops in the High Street. Walk beyond the TIC, passing the statue of King Alfred and go straight on at the roundabout behind it. The road runs past the City Mill, over City Bridge. Go straight on at the mini roundabout, follow the road up the hill and Magdalen House is 50 yards up on the left hand side. This should take about 15 minutes.
