The Minster Gallery

3a Great Minster Street, Winchester

SO23 9HA

The Minster Gallery presents Elemental, an exhibition of new paintings by Andy Waite.

Andy was born in 1954 and followed a career as a freelance graphic designer and sign writer, having studied at West Sussex College of Art & Design before turning to painting full time in 1988.

He has shown at the Minster Gallery on a regular basis for a number of years, successfully selling work from the small and exquisitely ethereal to the very large and dramatic canvas’s that capture the wildness of the Sussex skies.

Andy Waite’s landscapes draw from the tradition of the Romanticists while expressing an energy that is distinctly contemporary. These paintings immerse you in and are a celebration of the English landscape and all its elemental power.

Monday to Saturday 10am to 5.30pm and by appointment.
