Winchester Tourist Information Centre and Winchester Shopmobility offer visitors or residents the chance to hire or loan a bike to explore this wonderful city.

Bike hire is available on a daily basis for just £15 per day. Bikes can be hired from 10am in the morning but must be returned by 4:30pm the same day. To hire a bike customers must be over 18 and provide proof of identity and a £50 refundable cash deposit. Helmets and hi visability jackets are also provided on a hire basis.

Please note during the winter months (October - December) the service only has a limited number of bikes and it is advisable to contact the office in advance.

For an annual membership fee of just £50 customers can sign up to the bicycle loan scheme. You can loan a bike for any period up to a month at a time to help you get around the city, whether this be to explore the hidden gems Winchester has to offer or to simply cycle to and from work.
